Great menu with an extra specal tapas section. Chef who has worked in the Canaries. Friendly service. Well stocked bar. Friends we take there love the place. Doors open precisely at 12:00.

A very warm and friendly welcome. Not you're average pub grub, an amazing specials board to go along with the normal menu, a lovely Mediterranean twist from the owners. Great value and very tasty
Excellent food and good service. Authentic Spanish Tapas menu as well as typical English fare too (great cheese and onion pie). Sunday lunch seems popular, but I have never had it by which to comment. Overall, it’s good value as a dining experience, and I have always been impressed with the food on offer. However, the price of some of the lagers was surprisingly high—just shy of £10 for a pint of Birra Moretti and a child’s soft drink. There were no prices displayed, which made it difficult to make an informed choice. Staff provide great service and Dario was great with the younger members of the party. Make sure you book to avoid any disappointment.
I’ve been going to the Waggon since for almost 20 years now and it hosts so many great memories for me and my family, we’re always so welcomed and well looked after by the entire team, you can’t fault it, nothing is too much trouble for them. A wonderful pub, menu, location - everything about it makes it the best place in Rochdale.
